I’m starting this fundraiser for our friend Brit, who is facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected medical challenge. Due to a serious injury, Brit now needs major reconstructive surgery on his foot. Without this procedure, he risks permanent mobility issues that could greatly affect his ability to work, be active, and live the life he loves.

The surgery, recovery, and rehab process will be long and expensive. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs—specialist visits, surgery fees, medical equipment, physical therapy, and time away from work—are overwhelming.

Brit is one of those people who shows up for everyone around him, and now he needs his friends to show up for him. Any amount you’re able to give—even a few dollars—will help lighten the burden and move him closer to healing.
