Hi everyone! We're Chris and Briah, two volunteers with Los Angeles Animal Services. One day at our local shelter we met a playful and affectionate 2-year-old dog named Blitzen. Blitzen arrived at the shelter with a broken front leg after being hit by a car; unfortunately, the shelter has been unable to provide the surgery he needs. He's been at the shelter for nearly two months and is stuck getting around on three legs. Because of his medical status, he's unable to go out to the yard and is restricted to short walks indoors. We have over 200 dogs at the shelter right now and Blitzen stole our hearts the minute we met him--we're dedicated to getting him the surgery he needs and back on all four paws!

We're raising money for Blitzen's surgery and appreciate any amount you have to give. We have a foster lined up for his post-operative recovery, so the cost of surgery is the only thing standing between him and being a healthy young pup again!
