Costa Ricans and people around the world have collaborated to bring support to vulnerable older people, endangered sea turtles, and priceless tropical forests. On March 5, a critical line was broken. The only vehicle that the Corcovado Foundation had to deliver food, carry volunteers, and ferry supplies to the many remote areas — was stolen after getting long-needed repairs in San Jose.
As a non-profit organization advocating for wildlife conservation, habitat restoration, and community economic development, our efforts are supported by the generosity of donations and our volunteers' commitment. Our 4x4 vehicle was how we delivered your support and your love to the Costa Rican residents, both human and non-human, who call the Osa their home.
The foundation's ability to properly supply people and programs has now been severely hurt, and the schedules for reaching those in need have already been disrupted.
We’re asking if you will join us in raising money to replace the foundation’s vehicle. If you would like to contribute with a small donation.
