Get back on our feet after massive heart attack
Donation protected
It's been a rough year for 311 Pool Rescue. Everyone in our family got Covid over Labor Day weekend, and Matthew got it the worst. For weeks, he struggled with pneumonia -- shortness of breath, exhaustion, pleurisy. Once he started feeling a little better, he and our daughter were hit in a car accident. No one was hurt, but it took several months for the claim to be settled, racking up several thousand dollars in car rental expenses.
A few weeks later, Matthew took our son to work on a pool in Casalinda and collapsed. Within a few minutes, he recovered enough to pack up his gear and finish his work day. It wasn't until several months later, during a routine allergy shot appointment, that his doctor became concerned about his vitals enough to send him to the ER where we learned that he'd actually had a massive heart attack that day in Casalinda.
Thankfully he had one of the best surgeons in DFW, and he's now in cardiac rehab for 8 weeks. Unfortunately the out of pocket costs are already piling up -- at a time when he can't work for a couple of months, and I'm limited to what I can do to keep things going while he recovers.
We need help from our people to keep the lights on, the kids fed, and the mortgage paid, plus our monthly operating expenses.
Please consider a donation to help us stay afloat and get back on our feet.
Thanks, friends!
