Hello everyone. My name is Ashley & I'm creating this GoFundMe in the hopes of raising money to move back home & receive the support & medical care I need.

Roughly 7 weeks ago, I was switched from the birth control I was taking to a new birth control by my OBGYN & she also put me on an antidepressant to help me with my anxiety & depression. I ended up having side effects from 1 or both of those medications. After day 9 I was instructed to stop taking the antidepressant. As some side effects still lingered, on day 14 I was given to ok to stop the new birth control. A few more side effects went away, but I was still having some medical issues. Racing & erratic heart rate even when at rest, nausea/vomiting/loss of appetite, trouble breathing, tightness & sharp pains in my chest, shooting & stabbing pains in my abdomen, & dizziness/fainting are some of the issues I'm still having. I've also dropped 17 lbs in less than 4 weeks. My primary care doctor has referred me to a cardiologist but is currently treating me for my anxiety only because once I mentioned I suffered from anxiety, that was all she wrote from him. I had a follow up with my OB & after listening to my in depth descriptions of what's going on with me she thinks there is a possibility I've developed POTS, but I have to see a cardiologist to even see if that's a possibility or to see if there is anything else going on with my heart. My referred cardiologist can't see me until the end of September,thou

With all that being said, I have minimal support where I currently live & I feel as though the doctors I have seen here aren't giving me the proper care I deserve. I have family in Tennessee that can assist me in getting to appointments, helping with my son, & be the mental & emotional support I need right now. I've also contacted my previous PCP & OBGYN from when I lived there 3 years ago & both are able to accept me as a patient again & refer me to a cardiologist who I am hopeful can lead me down the right path to figuring out what my underlying health issues are. I just need help getting there.

I have been unable to work during this time as I am a medical courier & my job requires me to drive continuously & sometimes long distances. Fainting & dizzy spells do not go well with operating a motor vehicle. The cost of seeing these doctors, a trip to the ER, & the medications have already taken a good portion of the "cushion" money we have.

So here I am, asking that if you are able to help myself & my family get moved to where our support system is & where I can get proper medical treatment, I'd be more than grateful. I need all the help I can get. I desperately want to figure out what is going on with me medically & also have peace of mind that my family can be there as we figure things out. All funds raised would go directly towards moving costs & medical expenses incurred thus far & those to come. Thank you to anyone who has read my story & I appreciate you all.
