My name is Arthur Ayres and I currently play Ice Hockey for Milton Keynes Storm u10s and have been skating since the age of 2.

I have been playing on the top line for the storm for the past two seasons and my skating is improving all the time, but it also needs to get better.

I and two of my teammates are taking extra lessons to take our hockey to the next level, so by this time next year we can try out for the ‘power of 10’ camp, this recognises the most talented 10-year-olds around the country who then go on to train with the GB coaches.

Like most sports it takes, time and dedication to be the best, but it also takes money. I will put in all the effort I can to reach the top if you can help me by donating whatever you can.

I have been given the amazing opportunity to train with the Carolina Hurricanes in the summer of 22. As you can imagine this is a huge thing for a hockey mad 9-year-old and I am super excited, lots of hard work ahead saving and fund raising for this once in a lifetime trip.

How can you help me?

We don’t’ know all the costs just yet, but are estimating them to be about £4,000

If we are lucky enough to raise more than the target amount, I will use the money for additional training camps in the UK before going to the Hurricanes.

You will be able to track my fundraising progress and my training to get me to the camp. When I get to North Carolina, I will share pictures and videos with you all. I am so grateful for any support you can give me.
