Ange Djadja suffered a serious knee injury which will unfortunately rule him out for the remainder of the season, following a very positive start to life with Braintree Town Football Club.
Ange suffered the injury during a National League Cup match against Ipswich Town on 18 August. Subsequent MRI scans have confirmed a complete rupture of his ACL.
Ange now requires reconstructive ACL surgery, followed by a lengthy period of rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The operation is expected to cost approximately £10,000 alone, with further costs associated with his rehabilitation and recovery. The fundraising will help Ange access the surgery and rehabilitation he needs to give himself the best possible chance of returning to the pitch.
We have therefore set up this page to help Ange through what will be a long and challenging road back to full fitness.
Funds raised will go towards:
- ACL reconstruction surgery;
- Hospital and specialist fees;
- Physiotherapy and rehabilitation;
- Follow-up consultations and scans; and
- Recovery equipment and associated medical costs.
This injury has come at a particularly difficult time for Ange, having made a strong start to his time with the club, scoring in the Club's first win of the season and already establishing himself within the squad following an impressive season last year.
At just 23 years old, Ange is determined to work hard throughout his recovery and return to playing football.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a genuine difference to Ange and help towards the cost of his surgery and rehabilitation.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page with friends, family and others within the footballing community would also be hugely appreciated.
Let's get Ange back on the pitch.
