Get Andrew to World Scout Jamboree in South Korea

Hi, my name is Andrew. I'm an Explorer Scout in the 14th Huddersfield Marsden Scout Group and part of "Unit 44 - The Yorkshire Puds".

We are part of the UK Contingent for the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in August 2023.

I'm looking forward to visiting Korea and I am proud to have been selected to represent my Scout Group and Yorkshire at WSJ25. I will be joining around 40,000 Scouts from around the world at the event.

The theme for this Jamboree is sustainability. We will be camping, cooking, doing watersports and many other activities, along with having fun, sharing experiences and making links with Scouts from all over the world.

Part of the Jamboree experience is fundraising to pay for the trip. I am doing a variety of things to raise funds for this.

We have already run a Christmas tree collection and recycling scheme in our village, and I have had a stall at some village events.
