Recently, I was involved in a major accident that totaled my truck. I am incredibly thankful to be alive, injuries will keep me out of work for weeks, if not months.

Paid medical leave wont kick in for a month, and beyond that the $19,362.72 medical bill isnt going to pay itself

On top of that, due to complications with my insurance company, only my truck’s finance balance will be covered...no help with a new vehicle. that is why i am forced to do this.

I live in Olympia, but I work in Seattle four days a week, sleeping in my truck during the week. On weekends, I travel between Olympia and Mossyrock to be with my children. We are an active family, and not having a vehicle has been a challenge I’ve never faced before. Most of my adult life, I’ve lived out of a vehicle more than under a roof, so the sudden loss of my truck has a major impact on our daily lives.

I am reaching out now because I need a helping hand. I am not one to ask for charity, and by nature would normally just endure the struggle, but this is a situation where any support can make a real difference for my children and my significant other...
