Get Amy to Venice and Burano!

Our favorite full-time mom and costume committee member has the opportunity of a lifetime... to stay FOR FREE in Venice, Italy during Carnevale and visit the island of Burano to watch lacemaking from some of the most talented specialists in the world. We just got to get her there! At present, Amy is only able to work part-time so she can care for her daughter, so we her friends are trying to assemble the best birthday/Christmas/Chanukah/Yule/Valentine's Day gift possible.

Our goal is to raise enough money to cover Amy's airfare, transport to/from the city, food, workshop fees, museum entrance, and some Carnevale fun.

Amy does so much for our local costuming community, devoting many hours of her time to beginners and newcomers sometimes at mere pennies an hour.
