Get Alida Baddle Angel to Australia for Jr Derby World Cup

Hey, I am Alida Baddle Angel (formally Darby Dash). I made it onto the Team Canada Junior Roller Derby team!

At the age of 8 my dad and I happened to go to Stardust. By the second time of skating I was lapping my dad. He then persuaded me to watch a Roller derby match. About 2 minutes in I was practically begging my dad to sign me up for roller derby, and that he did.

Ever since, I have basically been glued to my skates and everything derby. From being an NSO to some mediocre reffing and, of course, hitting chicks. I have played with Vancouver JRD, Fraser Valley Fury, West Coast JRD. I have a place where I found a home. After 8 years have passed, the passion hasn't subsided. And now I have somehow managed to make it onto Team Canada Jr Roller Derby.

In July 2025 Team Canada is heading off to Australia to play in the world cup. Along with new jerseys, gear and practices that span across Canada, the costs are adding up quick.

The derby scene is like no other and I am excited to represent BC and Canada. I hope that I can find support with all of you wonderful people to make my journey possible.
