Alex needs our help
Alex suffered an accident on Thursday 13th when he was lighting a fire with gasoline on the land in Nicaragua, burning some tree branches and wood. He got 21% of his body burned with 2nd and 3rd degree burns and he is now in a public hospital in Managua. He has both his arms, hands, legs and face burned. He is in a lot of pain, not taking enough medicine and the attention and service from the nurses makes him feel like he is in a prison where nobody cares about you as a human being, not assisting when he calls for help and even letting him suffer in fever for hours before giving him any medicine. He has both his hands and lips burned so even eating by himself is a struggle. He has nobody accompanying him there because the visiting hour is only from 4PM tp 5PM, so he has to go through all this by himself.
Burning healing is extremely painful and he will have to stay in the hospital for at least 3 weeks, according to the doctors. We want to give him better condition by transferring to a private hospital (Vivian Pellas) where he can have better medical assistance and also one person accompanying him full time to make his healing less painful
The private hospital informed the costs for his recovery will be around USD50,000. This is the moment when we need the help of all his friends. Alex who doesn't stop helping people around him, now he needs our help himself.
