Get Aileen back on the road!

Our wonderful childminder Aileen Parry was travelling from a singing and signing session with her four little ones when her car was hit by a Tesla travelling at around 60mph on a residential road. The car spun several times onto the opposite side of the road, injuring Aileen. The driver of the Tesla was arrested by police at the scene.

Luckily, the children were only left with shock and bruising. Not thinking of herself, Aileen speedily got them out of the car.

Aileen’s people carrier has been written off and due to the age of it, she won’t get much back on the insurance. This means that she is now going to have to try and find the funds to get a replacement - which is hard for most, including Aileen.

Aileen has been a registered childminder for 35 years, looking after dozens of generations of children in Middlesbrough. Adults take their children to Aileen after being minded by her as children themselves.

This Go Fund Me page has been set-up to help Aileen get back on the road.

With the summer coming up she needs a car to get out with the kids and we want to support her to try and help with the funds.
