Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

My name is Tara, and I’m a proud single mom to an incredible 14-year-old girl named Addy. For the past seven years, Addy has poured her heart into playing Fastpitch Softball — her passion, her joy, and her dream.

Over the years, she’s worked incredibly hard and had the honor of representing her teams at two Eastern Canadian Championships in Fredericton, NB. This summer, her dedication has paid off again — Addy’s team has qualified for the Canadian National Championships in Winkler, Manitoba, a week-long tournament bringing together the top young athletes in the country.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Addy, and I want nothing more than to give her the chance to experience it. However, as a single mom, the financial reality of travel, accommodation, and associated expenses is daunting — especially with today’s rising cost of living.
