Get Aazar to The March to Gaza

(update: someone magical has donated the full amount for my funding. Any extra would help my partner Fabian to join me. £1500 would cover both our costs)

Hi I am Aazar

I am from London and I have decided (very last minute) that I would like to join the thousands of people from all over the world (30+ countries) marching peacefully to Gaza from Al-Arish in Egypt.

I know there are people who would love to do this march but perhaps don't have the time or the physical ability to take part and on the other hand there are some that do not have the financial means to fund it.

I am the latter and I would love for us to collaborate together, for Palestine and against all the evils of this world.

I have never been so welcomed and so generously housed and fed until I visited the West Bank in 2019. I have had Palestine on my mind and on my tongue ever since. Making art projects in university and speaking about it with friends and family. Since things escalated on October 7th I have been travelling and unable to attend protests although from afar I have kept up to date, signing petitions, keeping the word strong and trying the best I can to spread love. However I have felt utterly powerless during this time. After going to the red line protest outside parliament yesterday I saw and felt the power in people coming together and I was informed about the March to Gaza. I want to mobilise and be a part of this march.

“On June 15, 2025, people from across the globe will come together at the Rafah border crossing in a bold, unified stand against genocide, ethnic cleansing, and the ongoing occupation of Palestine. From over 22 countries, thousands are preparing to take part in this historic event to demand for the following:

* The opening of a humanitarian corridor into Gaza

* An end to the famine caused by the Israeli occupation

* A permanent ceasefire”

The recommended amount for accommodation and food and drink costs during the trip is £235, I have looked at flights and they will cost me £400 return + £50 visa fee. Once taking to account travel to and from the airports I estimate I will need £750.

If I manage to make close to this I will fund the remaining or I may be able to be partially sponsored by the group organising the main funding. If I am far from my goal all the money raised will be returned to you. and if I make over this any extra money will be given to the group helping to sponsor others.
