Get Aaron Streaming Again

We are The Precipice Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit charity. We normally devote our effort and funds to preventing homelessness before it happens, but the overall and most important mission of TPF is to increase the "net good" in the world. In this post, we're seeking donations for a cause that is very near to our hearts:

Aaron is a 14 year old kid with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), otherwise known as The Butterfly Condition. EB is one of the most painful conditions known to modern medicine; it's a rare genetic skin condition that causes the skin to easily blister or scrape off, from even a light touch. Minor friction can be excruciating and can cause severe injuries. Even a hug can be risky for children with this condition.
We're not going to sugar-coat it. The Butterfly Condition sufferers are almost exclusively children, and results in near constant excruciating pain. There is no treatment other than pain and wound management. Children who suffer from this condition have it incredibly rough.

When he's not going to school online or dealing with his condition, Aaron loves nothing more than to stream Fortnight on Twitch. Unfortunately, just after we sent him a new foot-pedal keyboard to make it easier to play with his condition (because his fingers have largely fused together due to his condition), his computer crashed and became unusable.

Aaron is the most kind and humble kid you'll meet, and is hesitant to accept gifts or even donations on his Twitch stream. He always thinks of others before himself, and his kindness has a genuine and meaningful impact on the people he plays with, and who watch him on stream.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for a new computer for Aaron so that he can get back to streaming his favorite games, and spreading positivity to all of his friends and followers online.

If you have the money, please consider donating so that we can get Aaron a computer from which he can game, stream, and go to school online.

Note: Any donations above and beyond what is used to buy Aaron a new computer will be donated to Aaron's family to help with medical and other expenses. If you would like to donate to the usual mission of The Precipice Foundation (preventing homelessness before it happens), please check out our website .
