Get a storage shed for Jerome's specialised equipment

Hi, my name is Jacky Mellor and I am a mum of 3 children. Luana aged 18, Jerome aged 17 and Keira aged 16.

Jerome was diagnosed with brain damage at the age of 1 years old. Throughout the years he has been diagnosed with a multitude of diagnoses including Spastic quadriplegia GMFCS Level 5, Cerebral Palsy, Severe Developmental Delay, Epilepsy, Impaired vision, Autism and mentally impaired. Jerome is non verbal, doubly incontinent and wheelchair bound. He relies on myself or his care givers to meet his basic needs and personal care. He has no mental capacity and I'm currently seeking deputyship of Jerome before he becomes an adult due to his severe needs and no capacity of understanding whatsoever. This will enable me to continue to care and make decisions as Jerome's mum and full time carer.

Despite Jerome's overwhelming complex needs, he is a happy sociable young man. He loves toy story and carries around woody and a monkey wherever he goes. He loves school and being with his peers. Jerome enjoys rocking back and forth to music. He is very inquisitive and enjoys exploring with support. Jerome also has a slapstick humour about his personality and loves watching you've been framed, belly laughing at all the mishaps in the program. Jerome has a fondness if cars and loves watching drifting on you tube. We did manage to get Jerome in a car when he was younger with a professional driver who took him around the track a few times. The man who took him had to stop half way through as he was laughing with Jerome and couldn't see due to tears coming down his eyes.
As a family we have grew stronger together, with every diagnosis, every heartbreak, every set back and in recent years watching him deteriorate as he grew older. We will never give up fighting and giving him the best life possible. Jerome has lots of equipment that enables him and his care givers to move him around safely such as a two wheelchairs, standing frame, feeding chair, electrical hoist and manual hoist. We have created this page to get the space to store his equipment. The equipment gives Jerome a good quality of life, making sure he can get into different positions, remain safe and above all to stop any sores happening. The shed would also give him the opportunity to have a specialised trike again. He loved speeding down the close where we live and going out around the area we live in. Due to the lack of space we as a family are unable to have this which breaks my heart as Jerome loved being on his trike and it gave him a sense of pride as he was able to keep up with his peers.
Please help us in raising the money, this would change our life so much and give Jerome the space in his home to commando crawl around and play in his room. At present the equipment takes up his room and our bungalow but without the equipment it will be detrimental to his health and physical needs.
