Help Bana improve her quality of life

Hello, I am Ouleye and trying to help out my niece Bana who lives in Dioum, Senegal.

My niece is 15 and was born with a stump right foot, but now this handicap is posing a medical problem for her if she doesn't get a proper prosthetic.

Bana is a cheerful, energetic, bright young lady who loves playing with her twin sister and all her friends, but it is tough for her to keep up with her friends. Day to day life in Dioum is challenging enough as a “normal” person, but it’s even more challenging when you have trouble walking. Bana and her peers have to walk to school every day and the road infrastructure is not that great, even on foot.

Bana’s parents would take her to Dakar to get a makeshift prosthetic shoe, but the quality of the shoe is not great and she needs to get a new one every year and the expenses mount quickly. The best solution for Bana is to be able to go to France for a professional to work on her foot and get her the best treatment.
