Get a new manual wheelchair to help my independence

Hi my name is Tanya and I'm a wheelchair user who requires help from you lovely people to get a new wheelchair. Unfortunately they are not cheap as your looking at the same price as a brand new car for a decent one.

Currently I have a very limited scope of where I can travel and work. With my current manual wheelchair it takes away all my independence as I can't use it without my carer. With this new chair I'll be able to use it independently meaning I'll be able to access simple tasks currently taken for granted like shopping or going out with my friends. My husband loves spending time in the outdoors but has had to to really step back from this because I can't join him and my house is not adapted enough for me to be independent in my manual chair at home. This new chair will mean I can do more tasks independently at home but as it also all terrain I'll be able to join my husband when going out to the countryside or even to old places with cobbled streets.

So any amount you can donate would really help me gain more independence and relieve the strain on my family and friends. So I would be so so grateful for your help especially as I know it's a difficult time for everyone.
