Get a modified van for Elhadji

My name is Annick and I'm raising money for my son Elhadji who is disabled with the San Filippo syndrome. I am a mom of two young boys, Elhadji 13 years old and Saliou 10 years old. My son Elhadji is my oldest and he was diagnosed with the Sanfilippo syndrome which is a syndrome that damages the brain along the years. He was a healthy born baby and had a normal child life until the age of 4 where everything drastically change with him being hyperactive, screaming but yet a very happy child. At this point of his life, El Hadji is slowly losing his ability to stand up and walk on his own, which require us to use a wheelchair for him to moved around more easily. Actuelly, there's a urgent need to get a modified van because of many reasons. First of all, Elhadji has a lot of doctor's appointments which require a lot of commutes from home to the hospital. As his mom and cargiver, I have to pick him up and put him inside the car which is very hard because he weights 90 pounds and most important it's very unsafe for both of us. And after that, I have to fold and lift the heavy wheelchair into my trunk which causes pain in my lower back. As a mom, I love my son more than anything in this world. I'm doing everything in my power to take care and provide for him every day of his life and make sure he's loved and happy even though he lost his ability to communicate with us . I am asking to anyone out there for there help today because we really needed to reach out to people who has the heart of giving even though they don't know to whom there money goes to. Having this van will be a huge help for Elhadji to be safer getting in and out the car and for me to stay healthy in order to still care and provide for him. Having a disabled child is a tough road for all moms like me to ride on but with the help of God and people like you, we can keep our heads up and have more strength to see the light at the end of that road.

Mon nom est Annick et je collecte des fonds pour mon fils Elhadji qui a le syndrome de San Filippo. Je suis une maman de deux jeunes garçons, Elhadji 13 ans et Saliou 10 ans. Mon fils Elhadji est mon ainé et il a été diagnostiqué avec le syndrome de Sanfilippo qui est un syndrome qui endommage le cerveau au cours des années. Il était un bébé en bonne santé et a eu une vie normale d'enfant jusqu'à l'âge de 4 où tout a changé radicalement avec lui en étant hyperactif, criant mais encore un enfant très heureux. À ce point de sa vie, El Hadji perd lentement sa capacité de se lever et de marcher seul, ce qui nous oblige à utiliser un fauteuil roulant pour qu'il se déplace plus facilement. Actuellement, il ya un besoin urgent d'obtenir une voiture modifiée en raison de nombreuses raisons. Tout d'abord, Elhadji a beaucoup de rendez-vous chez lemédecin qui nécessitent beaucoup de commutations de la maison à l'hôpital. Étant sa mère et celle qui s'occupé de lui,  je dois le porter et le mettre à l'intérieur de la voiture ce qui est très difficile avec le poids d'un adolescent de 13 ans et le plus important avec le risque  de trébuchet et de tout les deux nous injurés. Et après cela, je dois plier et soulever le lourd fauteuil roulant dans mon coffre qui me cause des douleurs dans le bas du dos. Comme une maman, j'aime mon fils plus que n'importe quoi dans ce monde. Je fais tout ce qui est en mon pouvoir pour prendre soin de lui et lui fournir tous les jours de sa vie et s'assurer qu'il est aimé et heureux même s'il a perdu sa capacité à communiquer avec nous. Je demande de  l'aide  aujourd'hui à toute personne qui ont le coeur de donner même si elles ne savent pas à qui l'argent va à. Avoir cette voiture sera une aide énorme pour Elhadji pour entrer et de sortir de la voiture en toute sécurité et pour moi de rester en bonne santé afin de toujours prendre soin de lui et de fournir pour lui. Avoir un enfant comme Elhadji est une route difficile a emprunter pour toutes les mamans comme moi, mais avec l'aide de Dieu et des gens comme vous, nous pouvons garder la tête haute et avoir plus de force pour voir la lumière à la fin de cette route.
