Get A Foodbank Van For SCOG In Southend
Southend Communities Outreach Group is an amazing food bank in Southend, Essex, and after we all managed to keep them going a few months ago with some emergency fundraising they’re now in a position to EXPAND - they just need a van.
This vehicle will be used for two essential things:

- To take their foodbank service out into the community and deliver groceries and other household items to people who are unable to leave their homes.
- To collect donations from their growing list of supporters and businesses in the local area.
To get a suitable vehicle, they need around £3000, and anything on top will cover insurance, fuel, tax etc.
UPDATE: 31/07/23 - We smashed the original £3,000 target in just over 48 hours which is amazing - THANK YOU! Anything raised on top will go towards the foodbank’s hefty ongoing running costs, van-related and otherwise.
