Hi my names is Dawn Anderson and I'm fundraising for a CT Scan to see if my cancer is gone.

Some of you may remember me when we did a fundraiser for my husband's (Charlie) funeral expenses. Thank you for all the love I was shown. Well on June 10th I went to the fwb er because I couldn't breathe very well and my left side hurt pretty bad when I took a breath. I was diagnosed that day with pneumonia and told they'd found a 4cm spot on my lower left lung. They admitted me I was there 4 days. They did another CT scan and a biopsy and sure enough it's lung cancer. My world had already been shattered loosing Charlie and now this.

I went to sacred heart cancer center was put on a program where they covered my dr and the chemo which I completed in November!!! I also did 30 rounds of radiation and thank God that's over. I'm on the mend but now my dr wants me to get my Scan at fwb med center and I have no insurance and they want payment up front. $1500. I don't have it. I have applied for medicaid but it has yet to come through.

I was too prideful to ask for help sooner. God has a way of humbling us
