The chef with no stomach.  Yep...That's me.  If you know my story, thanks for your continued support.  If you don't know my story, it's intense.  Google "chef with no stomach" and I'm it...I'm that guy.  My story has been featured on The Doctors , on CNN with Dr. Sanjay Gupta , on The Huffington Post , and more, but those are just fragments of the whole story.  The fact that I'm still here to even share my story is nothing short of miraculous.  I've lost my stomach, 95% of my esophagus, a collar bone, a couple of ribs, my gall bladder, several feet of intestines, shoulder muscle and more!  What I HAVEN'T lost is my sense of humor, my empathy, and my contaious, enthusiastic love of food.

Over the past decade I've thrown my weight (what's left of it!) at education, highlighting the connection between what we eat and how we feel.  For a guy with no stomach, that connection is crucial!  Depending on what I chose to consume, each bite of food could bring me energy or it could bring me misery.  When I eat fresh, vibrant foods, I feel fresh and vibrant!  But when I eat heavy, fatty, greasy, overprocecessed foods, (you guessed it!) I feel heavy, fatty, greasy & overprocessed.  Each and every day, bite after bite, that choice is mine.  The truth is, EVERYONE shares that connection, stomach or not.  You ARE what you eat...So let's eat well!

My goal is to create a regular series of fun, light-hearted, nutrition-focused, deliciously educational videos that explore the important food/health connection.  Your support will help us build and stock the physical kitchen, as well as fund the production of this series.
