My name is Chrissy Thompson and I have been blessed to have some of the best friends a person could have in my life such as Rob and Jessie Costa. They have done so much for my own family and so many others that I thought in their time of need it would be great to give back to them. They are loved by so many people because of the wonderful people that they are.
Rob loves DJ'ing for Relay for Life because he loves giving his time to such an amazing cause. Together him and Jessie donate many hours to their church as well. He and and his wife Jessie have 4 children and 2 of the cutest little weiner dogs you've ever seen!
Rob went in for a cardiac catherization on February 22, 2016 and went in thinking he would need a stent put in his heart and he would be home within a day or two. Unfortunately, he was given the news that he needed open heart surgery, a quadruple bypass and that he was lucky to be alive.
February 27, 2016, Rob went into surgery. During that time, they find that he also had an aortic aneurysm. He was literally a walking time bomb and by the grace of god he is still here with us.
Rob will have a 6 to 8 eight week recovery period as long as all goes well. Unfortunately, Rob does not have short disability to cover his time off for work. This family also has large insurance deductabiles to cover as well.
I am reaching out to our community and whoever else is willing to donate anything to this family in need to keep their heads above water and receive help for the extremely high medical bills they are going to have.
Rob and Jessie will be beyond appreciative more than you know for any help they receive. They are those kind of people that will help you in a second and never ask for anything in return and I have to add that they never like to ask for help so I took upon myself to ask for them.
Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts and thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for donating!
