Hello everyone, thank you so much for ypur help over the years. I didn't expect to be in this recovery mode for so long. It really is a journey. I'm wroting this update now because i am still in need of help. I am exhaused and still in need of support. I've been dedicated to trying to attain, job financial and housing security. Due to lack of funds and resources, I was unable to secure legal aid to help with the settlement after the divorce. I need help to retain my current housing while seeking legal aid as I am facing eviction. Thank you so much for your continued support. It means the world to me. If you can't donate please share!

Hello everyone, thank you for taking time to be here. This is my experience and journey that is very personal and overwhelming for me. I've been trying to do this alone and I'm choosing now to be courageous, vunurable and ask for the help that i need. For the past few months I've been going through a divorce from a narcissistic and emotionally abusive spouse. He's a part of the airforce and, unfortunately I have received no support from his commanders even though they are aware of what is occurring. He is collecting added monetary benefits from being married to me and that I've never had access to. He was trying to relocate us without my consent or full awareness. When I asked for a divorce it got terrifying. I've had to call both his commander and the police multiple times. Since the abuse isn't physical, I wasn't protected or taken seriously. The last time I had to call the police while he was threatening me, I was told that I'm being immature an need to "be an adult". Thankfully, when I informed the police I just need time to move my things to leave by a certain date, they told him to just wait it out and give me space. Even though I have no resources and I'm also being financially abused which i had informed both his commander and the police about. Thanks to the kindness of far away friends I was able to secretly rent a car, pack my things and make an escape. I am currently still relying on the generosity and kindness of friends. I need help to able to support my basic needs, lawyer fees and savings for moving into a new space. I appreciate all the help and support, even if it's though a prayer or a show of kindness.
