Hi, my name is Geraldine Heasman. I am representing Ireland in the International Drug Free Powerlifting Association World Championships (IDFPA). I am trying to raise enough funds to help send myself and my coach to represent Ireland in Seoul, Korea this December.

I started powerlifting in September 23 and I have thrown myself wholeheartedly into the sport. I competed in nationals in the spring of this year and set 4 national records. From that I earned a place in the AWPC European Championships last July. I competed in Poland representing Ireland as the under 82.5kg masters 1 female lifter and I brought home the gold. It was a hugely proud moment for me but now I am focused on the next goal.

I would love to attempt to bring back gold for Ireland on the world stage. Unfortunately travel costs, accommodation, competition fees, uniforms and so on are costly. So if anyone can contribute anything, no matter how much, to help it would be massively appreciated.
