Gerry's Road to Recovery

Gerry Shryock (lovingly known in the community as Daddy G from his delicious steak & bbq sauces) was involved in a head on collision on his way home from work on Wednesday, March 18th. He was life lined to Methodist Hospital where he is currently in recovery. His right leg is broken top to bottom in three places, left leg broken from the knee down, crushed pelvis on one side, broken ribs, severe internal injuries, facial injuries, etc., and is being kept sedated for the time being. He is going to need many surgeries and a lot of physical therapy in the upcoming months.The bright side is that his arms, brain, and spinal cord aren't damaged! Still, Gerry has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and we are not yet certain how long he will be in the hospital.

That being said, I'm starting this fundraiser to help his wife, whom will be by his side every day during recovery, keep the stress of money off her mind. Gerry will be out of work for a while, and I want to be sure bills and expenses are the last thing they have to worry about right now. 

Between his family and friends, he has an absolutely amazing support system, and we all want to help out as much as possible! If you can give even a single dollar, it would truly mean the world.

-- March 20th update - Gerry has had his 4th surgery, which went well. As long as things continue to go well, he will have another surgery on his legs on Monday, March 23rd. I will keep everyone updated as much as possible!
