Gerry Parker - Medical Expenses

On behalf of my parents and our family, I am setting up this fundraiser to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with the end stage of heart failure. Below is a letter from my parents. Dear Friends,

Gerry has been dealing with cardiomyopathy (heart failure) for twenty years. He has reached a time in this journey that we need help caring for him in the end stage of heart failure. He has come home from the hospital for palliative care. Gerry nor I have been able to work full-time for a year while taking care of him and his medical needs.

There are medicines, medical supplies, caregivers, fuel costs, housing needs, insurance premiums, and miscellaneous needs. We have depleted our emergency fund during this process. The amount we are trying to raise will cover 3 months of our previously mentioned expenses.

We are asking for your continued prayers for us and our family through this next part. Over this next leg of our journey, we are also needing financial assistance. If you feel led to help us financially your gift would be appreciated and would help to alleviate some of that stress for us.
