On Tuesday afternoon, August 27th, Gerry was cycling in the Eldo Race at El Dorado Park, as he did every Tuesday.  Sadly, that night’s ride would be his last.  Gerry succumbed to a severe brain injury after an unfortunate accident during the race. 

Those who knew Gerry knew how passionate he was about cycling.  He died doing what he loved.  But it happened so suddenly and has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives.  All monies raised will go toward paying medical bills, funeral expenses, and support Stephanie as she begins to navigate life without him.  Thank you for your support and especially for your prayers during this extremely difficult time.

Stephanie will be checking this account and will appreciate reading all the great memories you have of Gerry.  We are also planning to create a slide show with some of the photos for his celebration of life service, which we will post info about soon.
