Our dear friend and queen, Geryln Henderson, recently suffered a major stroke while at work and was urgently flown to Sydney for life-saving brain surgery. The surgery went well, but Ger is still in ICU, resting and recovering. She has lost mobility on her left side and will need the use of a wheelchair, disabled accessible home etc. She also had a hemorrhagic stroke on her right basal ganglia. While the journey ahead will be long, we are grateful that she is still with us, and her strength continues to inspire us all.

The road to recovery will involve many months of rehabilitation and healing. Doctors have advised that milestones will come slowly, but we’re staying hopeful and positive. While Ger focuses on regaining her strength, we want to come together to support her and her beautiful family during this challenging time.

Geryln is the backbone of her family—her loving husband Leyden and their three boys. This GoFundMe is a space for us to help ease the financial burdens that daily life brings, so they can focus entirely on Ger’s recovery and well-being.
