I’m sharing this in hopes it reaches you with an open heart.

Recently, my mom, who’s normally full of life, got seriously sick while at work. What started as bronchitis turned into pneumonia, and soon after, her condition became critical. She could barely breathe, and I rushed her to the ER, terrified I was going to lose her. That’s when we found out she also had multiple blood clots in her legs and lungs.

If you know me, you know my mom is my world, my best friend and my biggest strength. She’s the kind of person who always says, “todo tiene solución” (everything has a solution), even in hard times.

Doctors told us the pneumonia had spread to her bloodstream something that can be fatal. But by God’s grace, she made it through. After two weeks in the hospital and inpatient therapy, she’s finally home, still healing, and still fighting.

As grateful as I am, the reality is she won’t be able to return to work anytime soon. Medical bills, medications, and everyday costs are piling up, we are falling behind financially.

If you’re able to donate anything, no matter how small, it will go toward her recovery and keeping us afloat. If you can’t, simply sharing this would mean the world.
