I would like to introduce you to one of my best friends, and very dear co-worker, Gerel Myers. She is an intelligent woman, a loyal company manager, an amazing Mother to her two children, a dedicated wife. She is a very strong woman that faces challenges head-on, diligent in searching for solutions, and never bows down when faced with adversity. Gerel and her family have had their share of adversity, and I know her strength comes from her Christian faith and her will to overcome her family's hardships.

Gerel is a fighter and continues to fight on this Round #3 of her diagnoses and family struggle:

• Gerel has recently learned that her breast cancer is metastatic and undergoing bi-weekly treatment to shrink and contain this diagnosis.

• Due to Gerel’s immune system being low, she developed shingles which affected the sight in her right eye; she recently had to have her eye removed.

• Her teenage daughter diagnosed with a brain tumor, underwent surgery, and is a survivor. She currently needs daily assistance.

• Her husband has had two knee scopes due to fall, walks with the assistance of a cane, and has limited disability.

I have set up this account for Gerel and family to assist with medical bills, meals, and in-home assistance to lessen her daily stress.
