Gerard’s battle with Cancer

Hi, my name is Kathleen Tracey, the couple in the picture are my long time friend Kim (Vance) Boutlier and her husband of many years, Gerard. Gerard has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. He is currently in ICU at the Aberdeen Hospital with serious complications from a biopsy. They are waiting on a bed in the Halifax ICU. He will be life flighted when one becomes available. Kim will then be travelling to and staying in Halifax indefinitely while Gerard receives treatment. Due to the seriousness of his illness neither of them are able to work at this time. I’ve created this page in the hopes that people will donate to help them cover the costs of travel, accommodations, food, anything they may need so they don’t have to worry about these things with everything else they are dealing with. Any little bit of help you can give, or even a share, will be greatly appreciated.
