Gerardo Rodriguez's Emergency Fund

Hello everyone, my name is Gerardo Rodriguez. My dad is a truck driver and suffered a mayor accident with an uninsured and unlicensed truck driver a few days ago that almost cost him his life. He is currently suffering from 16 broken ribs, a broken sternum and is recovering from surgery from a dislocation and fracture of the pelvis. My mom has not left his side since the accident. She fulfills every role in our household as a stay at home mom. We are lost as to how my mom who cares fulltime for myself and my special needs (Down Syndrome) as well as my two younger sisters (13 and 4) will make ends meet. The road to recovery for my dad is very long and with medical bills pilling up as well as upcoming months without being able to work to provide for our family I ask from the bottom of my heart for your help in this time of need. I myself work part time at an elementary school but what I make is not even close enough to cover the sudden financial burden for my parents. Today is my birthday. My heart is broken and feels saddened and my only wish is to see my dad recover and have my parents home soon. Any monetary help or prayers is very much appreciated.
