Hi everyone my name is Stephanie and I am trying to help my step father Gerard Parsons to help support and to ease the burden of everyday expenses and allowing him to focus on the next steps in his medical journey.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for Gerard who is facing an incredible and difficult life altering medical situation. After suffering multiple heart attacks and receiving many stents , Gerard who is only 52 years old is now being monitored by specialist and awaiting on a bed to be transfered to Toronto General Hospital as he is a high risk patient , The medical team will decide on the best route to take and a heart transplant is in the talks. This has turned everyday life upside down for someone who is a workaholic and has a hard time asking for help !

While the focus right now is on survival treatment and recovery, the reality is that Gerard will be unable to work for the unforseeable future due to ongoing medical care, hospital stays and the physical toll this has taken on him!

As specialists try to figure out the next steps, the financial burden is growing. Rent , utilities, medication and transportation to medical appointments and other essential bills is always going to be there while hes stuck in place in this medical battle.
