Helping My Family Through Another Loss

Two days ago, I received the heartbreaking call that my uncle had lost his battle with cancer. On top of the grief, his family is now facing unexpected financial challenges. Although they had burial insurance in place, the claim was denied because the policy hadn’t reached the two-year mark — despite them paying into it faithfully.

As many of you know, my father passed away just a year ago. This is his little brother, and our family is struggling to cope with another devastating loss so soon.

I’m not one to ask for help, but right now my aunts and cousins need support more than ever. If you’re able to give anything — even just a dollar — it would mean so much. Every little bit helps, and it will go directly toward giving my uncle the dignified farewell he deserves.
