Since that time, the school has operated on the first floor of the school building. Recent growth in enrollment has made it necessary to start work on completing the unfinished basement in the building. The additional space will allow the school to support an enrollment of 400 and offer many additional eudcational and extracurricular resources to the students.

As another fundraising opportunity for the school's basement project, Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church is pleased to present the world-renownd Oakwood University Aeolians in a benefit concert on February 24, 2018. We encourage you to purchase tickets to attend this amazing concert, after you've made your GoFundMe donation! Tickets are only $10 if purchased in advance; $15 at the door.
The Aeolians are known around the country and the world for their excellence in music ministry. They recently earned the distinguished title - Choir of the World 2017 - at the 70th anniversary of the World Choral Festival, held in Wales, UK.
The concert takes place at the Metropolitan Activity Center - 6307 Riggs Rd, Hyattsville, MD - on Saturday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
