Craig’s Medical Fund

Donation protected
On Friday, July 1st, Craig Younce suffered a stroke from a large hemorrhagic bleed. He has since been in critical care. Although he was able to walk into the ER, the signs of stroke were obvious with right side weakness and slurred speech. He was immediately taken back and a CT scan was performed. After the medical staff realized the stroke was from a bleed, they called his wife to go back with him. While waiting outside the room he went unconscious and presented other complications resulting in the need to be intubated in order to protect his airways. The ER physician gave a 50/50 prognosis for the next 24 hours.

The next two days gave us hope as there were moments he opened his eyes and responded to being pinched. However the third day showed regression with poor vitals. With having a great medical team, the problems were addressed and he became more stable. At the end of this long week, Craig began to improve and had had again opened his eyes. He also has begun following simple commands from the doctors, his wife and his children. He still needs to demonstrate this better to be extubated.

Craig Younce is a humble man who loves God and his family. We have no idea why this happened, but we trust God and am grateful that He will walk beside Craig and his family during this trial in their lives. We ask for continued prayers and support as it can take some time for him to fully recover.

Thank you all for your love and support, whether through prayers or donations. We thank you all for being a part of Craig’s life. We will update soon.
