Our dear friend and colleague Danella Putna passed away on May 28, 2020, at 52 years old. 

Danella’s strength and determination knew no boundary over the many years she fought cancer.  Danella was a warrior. She triumphed against the odds, for so long, and came back from each challenge more energized to contribute and grow. The optimism and grace with which Danella faced each challenge will forever impression us; may her memory be a source of continued inspiration for us all. 

Danella felt so supported by her CG colleagues over the years and truly loved being part of the EPMO and working on NAD initiatives, which she had done since joining Capital in 2006.  In response to an overwhelming desire to honor Danella and support her family, we have created this site. 

Any donations made here in Danella's honor will go directly to her daughter Georgina’s 529 college savings account. Georgina is 13 years old and is scheduled to begin college in 2024.  

Along with Georgina, Danella is survived by her sisters Romayne Putna and Alex Putna, and by her mum, Mireille Putna.
