Help Georgina save lives & foster the Hope4Home

Donation protected
Hello! Georgina is a faith-filled, strong, intelligent woman striving to create a "home of hope" for herself and others in Malawi, Africa.

Homes with food, water, shelter, safety, & health. Safety from the recent events and devastating effects of: flooding from a very heavy rainy season, homelessness, lack of clean water and eccoli outbreaks, human trafficking, malnutrition, and lastly the staggering deadly effects of Cyclone Freddy.

Since the cycle hit, she is serving, feeding, and giving hope to a shelter of about 300 orphaned children. She needs more funds to continue. This is the most immediate need.

Please donate to help Georgina continue to save lives. You can find the most updated information at our Facebook page here:

Georgina endeavors to become a RN & Midwife to help young girls in her country that are married young, (12-14 years old) pregnant, and hours away from the closest hospital. This desire developed after her married 12 year old cousin (the only other girl in her extended family when Georgina was 9 years old) became pregnant and went into labor. Their small village, Mchinji, is 5 hours walking distance from the closest hospital, or 3 hours on bicycle. When her cousin went into labor, she had to walk those 5 miles, and while she did, she bled out. She ended up making it to the hospital and delivered the baby. The baby died a day or so later and her cousin died a few days after that. Georgina hopes to open a clinic closer to these more remote locations, with the hope of decreasing the mortality rate of these teen births. Her expected graduation is June 2024.

When she was 6 years old her mother died, and Georgina began raising her youngest brother who was 18 months old at the time. About 7 years later, he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Georgina noted the tender loving care that the nurses gave her brother, even when they knew he'd die and there was nothing else they could do for him. Georgina wanted to do something to repay them but had nothing to give. Now Georgina wants to pay it forward by becoming a nurse herself and serving those in need.

Georgina can't do this alone. Donate & pray that her Hope4Home will be realized!
