Hey all, thanks for checking this out and possibly donating, but definitely sharing. My daughter and I got Georgie in May of 2020, and he's been the little light in our lives since the pandemic hit, so much so that he's become my emotional support animal (prescribed by my therapist).

On December 26th, we came home to Georgie having eaten a pack of sugar free gum, and the best part about that is Xylitol. Xylitol is extremely poisonous to dogs and can cause immediate hypoglycemia and acute liver failure. At this moment Georgie is being held at an emergency vet clinic so that his vitals are constantly monitored and that he is in safe hands with constant watch. 

This does not come cheap. Just to keep him at the vet hospital required a down payment of $2,500 and I have exhausted all of my funds, and other options at this time. If things do take a turn, he may have to be transported for blood infusions and other medically necessary procedures to keep him alive.

So please, if you're able, take time to donate but if you're not able to, please share. Georgie is a member of our family and we would very much like to keep him alive.
