Hi my name is Georgia Wattam or Bob as you may know me, I’m currently signed for Doncaster Rovers Belles and my life is sport and exercise. I have used my sport to deal with all my emotions and to keep good mental health but unfortunately my whole world crashed when I badly rolled my ankle during a training session. After lengthy rest and some physiotherapy my ankle unfortunately wasn’t any better, and aiming to get rehabilitated as quickly as possible, I went private to see a specialist with the aim of getting to the root of the constant swelling and pain. Unfortunately after my consultation and subsequent MRI scan it was found that I have a fractured ankle, which hasn’t healed properly, and possibly worse - a detachment of three ligaments, which will need surgery to reattach and hopefully repair my ankle so I can play football and exercise again.

Please, if you can, help to get me back on the pitch doing what I love the most.
