Georgia’s Journey

Hello everyone, Our names are Chrisanthi and Samira, and we are reaching out for support for our dear friend and colleague, Georgia. She is a loving parent and the primary caregiver for both her children and her mother. Right now, Georgia is facing a very difficult time in her life.

After being diagnosed with lupus, she has now experienced kidney failure and is undergoing dialysis three times a week. The toll this has taken on her body and health is immense, and unfortunately, it has come to the point where she needs to take some much-needed time off to focus on her health and treatment.

She has always been a hardworking woman who would help out colleagues whenever she could. Georgia always lends a helping hand if she can. Now, we want to return the favor by lending her a hand to relieve some of the financial stress.

As the sole provider for her family, this situation is especially challenging. With bills to keep up with and the responsibility of caring for her loved ones, taking time off work seems impossible financially, but it’s critical for her recovery.

We are raising $15,000 to help cover some expenses and ensure that her family is taken care of during this difficult period. This will allow Georgia to focus on healing without the overwhelming stress of financial burdens.
