Georgia Trip with Fleetwood International Church

Hello! My name is Mitch and I am fundraising for a mission trip to Georgia! This April, I am very excited to be apart of a team from Fleetwood International Church that is headed to Batumi, Georgia to provide child & youth care for families located in the Middle East & Europe.

Back in 2022, FIC had an opportunity to send a team to Türkiye to provide child & youth care for families. We are so honored to return this year and not only serve the same families we did in 2022, but to serve almost double the amount of kids & youth!

Our team will be responsible for providing intentional care while having gospel-centered programs for kids and youth to engage in. I believe our work is so important because it gives families and their kids a break from constantly serving their communities and participate in much needed rest & experience people serving them. The child & youth care we are providing also gives their parents a chance to intentionally rest, receive counselling, and to spend precious time with one another before they head back to their respective countries.

God really has the power to change lives. My last experience in Turkiye serving these families & creating life-long relationships really displayed God's will and love for the world. While I may not be able to commit myself to long-term mission work (yet? haha), what excites me about this trip is that our team will play an essential role in these families lives as they experience intentional rest before they head back & serve communities/groups in the countries they live in. My passion for loving people and ensuring that people experience love really has grown from just being able to witness & serve these families.

This trip costs around $2500 and all funds will be going towards accommodation and travel costs. I humbly ask you to consider donating any amount that's on your heart to donate. More importantly, I ask that you pray for me, the FIC team, as we continue to fundraise & posture our hearts as we prepare to provide the very best care to these families.
