Georgia Beaumont

We are delighted to share the news that Georgia has today (Tuesday 13th) been given the all clear from ovarian cancer after 4 months of intensive chemotherapy.

She will obviously have to carry on having regular blood tests and other levels checked and scans but this is the best bit of new years news we could have hoped for.

Many thanks to all who supported us/her, asked about her and kindly donated to her fund.❤️

Thanks allGeorgia starts her final round of chemo on Monday 1st December for 6 days so fingers crossed for a positive outcome and she should be home for the following week-end.

Georgia started her 3rd round of chemotherapy on the 7th November at Nottingham QMC. Between treatments she was able to go shopping and treat herself to some new clothes. Retail therapy does work !

Georgia went into QMC Nottingham on 17th October for her second round of chemo after positive blood results. Due to a reaction to one of the fluids used in the first round she has had different fluids this time and hopes to go home on Friday morning all being well.

She’s enjoying watching the donations go in and is very grateful and surprised at people’s generosity and it’s taking her mind off her worries ! Thank you so much…

We’re fund raising for 15 year old Georgia who is recovering from major surgery for ovarian cancer and now undergoing an intensive chemotherapy program for stage 2 cancer.

The hospital is in Nottingham and the family live in Derby but stay in hospital with mum staying all the time and dad travelling daily and trying to keep his work going. Sadly Georgia is not enjoying hospital food and that has to be brought in to keep her happy !

In trying to raise money we are trying to help provide special treats for Georgia who as a 15 year old just starting her GCSE year at school is now facing a lot of treatment and losing her hair. She is being very brave and determined but it was not what she had thought her final year at school would be like. We hope to make things easier for her and her parents who are trying desperately to arrange their lives around making it better for their daughter and keeping her spirits up in hospital.

She is already having side effects with ulcers from her throat down to her stomach, a fever and wheals all over her upper body. At one point it was thought she had chickenpox but that’s been dismissed now. Her blood levels need to be monitored constantly.

Thank you for taking the time to read this…
