Georgia Ann Buchanan

Dean & Ollie Buchanan awoke on Wednesday, March 8 to their world being turned upside down. They were devastated to discover their sweet, Georgia Ann, who was only 15 months old, passed away in the night.

Georgia was a spunky little girl who adored her family and absolutely loved God's creation. She always wanted to be outside and would point out every bird possible.

Her short life was full of love, happiness, fun, and play. We are all devastated, but look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

The funds raised will help Dean and Ollie with the funeral costs and anything over will go towards an education fund for her big sister, June.

Georgia Ann Buchanan, 15-months, of Union, MO passed away Wednesday, March 08, 2023.

She is survived by her parents, Dean and Ollie (nee’ Gildehaus) Buchanan of Union, MO; one sister, June Elizabeth Buchanan of Union, MO; grandparents: Tim and Christa Buchanan of Union, MO and Jason “Cheeseburger” and Lisa Gildehaus of Leslie, MO; great-grandparents: Dennis Brown of High Ridge, MO, Joy Chartrau of Washington, MO, Chris Jones of Sullivan, MO, Bob and Gina Buchanan of Cedar Hill, MO, and Dianna Westrup of Union, MO; three cousins: Amelia, Dean, and Nolan Brown; aunts and uncles: Dennis and Lauren Brown of St. Clair, MO, Devan and Kyle Beach of Union, MO, Samantha Gildehaus of Springdale, AR, and Emilie Gildehaus of Leslie, MO; great-aunt, TeAnne Chartrau-Ray and husband Ryan of Washington, MO; along with other relatives and family friends.

Georgia Ann Buchanan was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Mike Chartrau, and her great-grandmother, Diane Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at First Christian Church of Washington. A family greeting and fellowship will immediately follow at the church. Interment will be held privately.
