Georgette Rubaugh Memorial

We unexpectedly lost our dear friend Georgette on 3.15.24.

Georgette was loved by everyone who knew her. Though she doesn’t have any living family she has life long friends who loved her like their own. She was a sister and a loving family member to so many for so long.

Georgette loved animals her whole life. She was a life long resident of Lester Pa. and was often seen spending her Friday nights at McGuillicuddys in Essignton having a cocktails with her friends. She enjoyed listening to oldies and country music. And above all she loved her cat Smokey.

We are raising money to go to Georgette’s Memorial Service. We will have a service and share all the details as a soon as the legal process completes its self.

Based on a conversation Georgette and I had last summer in the park she said she would love a memorial bench with her name on it at Governor Printz Park when she was gone- I promised if I was here I would try my best. Unfortunately the time has come sooner than I ever expected but we would love to honor her wishes to get a bench and spread her ashes out by the island.

Any additional money left after her memorial and her bench would be donated to a local cat rescue in Georgette’s name.
