Georgetown University Mock Trial (GUMT) is asking for donations to aid our travel costs during Fall 2023! Our team travels to a total of 6 different tournaments in the Fall, representing Georgetown at some of the most competitive invitationals on the east coast and in the Midwest. Funds will be used to make our demonstratives that are used during competition, rent cars to drive to each tournament, book hotels for members to stay in, and more!
Some Facts About Us:
- Last season, GUMT set a new record placing 9th in the nation!
- We finished third in our division at nationals during the Spring 2023 season
- We are a team of 30 members who compete in 3 teams of 10
- Last year, two of our members were awarded at the national level giving them the title of "all-American"
