Georgetown House Fire

Hi my name is Vera. I am Vesna's sister. I am helping their family raise funds in order to get back on their feet and get kids ready for the new school year. If you are in a position to help we would greatly appreciate it, offers of thoughts and prayers would be accepted as well.

Vesna N. and family have been living in Georgetown for over 10 years. This morning they were woken up by an explosion which blew out the garage door across the street. Then all of a sudden their home was engulfed in smoke and flames giving their family of 4 only minutes to escape from what could have ended up a tragedy. With fast acting brave neighbors they were able to escape with only minor injuries.

Vesna N. has been an active member of the community, a proud volunteer for Scouts Canada, a dedicated baseball coach and community supporter, raising funds and donating time and supplies for families in need. As of this morning her family was left with nothing. We are hoping that we can offer support for their family especially with the new school year just around the corner.Georgetown House Fire
