George's sensory garden
Donation protected
George was born with a genetic mutation that means he is blind, he has the part of the brain missing that controls balance, he is unable to talk and is restricted to his home and NOW garden due to the inability to forget anything, especially any negative experience and a feeling terror hits George when exposed to similar environments again.
We are looking to make George's garden a stimulating and adventurous place for him. Giving him as much possible stimulation and opportunities to use his senses to help him to understand the world around him. The goal is to bring back enough good experiences outside the home that George can re-engage with society. The end goal for George's family is that when they can physically help George anymore that he can live with other people and do more than survive.
We all need to help George's family raise £23000 to ensure the best environment that will help him thrive and enjoy his garden and when ready re-engage with society.
Whatever you can donate will go straight to George's family and allow them to make the changes that are so badly needed.
